Curtis Axel is third-generation, being the grandson of Larry “The Axe” Hennig and the son of WWE Hall of Famer the late “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig. He had come to RAW and with Bray Wyatt joined The Nexus and The New Nexus. He was with David Ortnga and were the WWE Tag-Team Champions.
